Do you have any lessons on similes, metaphors, and other figurative language?
T. Saguid
I had the same question, that would be great!
Hi Tania,
There is a lesson in Intermediate 2 Unit 5 on similes and metaphors: https://member.kid-inspired.com/memb_materials/metaphors-and-similes-i2-05/ I’ll add figurative language to the community forum as an idea to create more of in the future. Thanks for the comment!
Hi John, I would love to see a vocabulary set about sports. It’s a common topic in my classroom!
Hey Elizabeth, we’ve actually already created one on sports. I just haven’t gotten up on the site yet! I’ll try to expedite it 🙂
I saw the update today- Thank you so much! This is great!
Hello John,
I have a couple of students who are very interested in modes of transportation. Is there any chance of getting a vocabulary set for this topic?
Hey Naomi, thanks for the feedback! Great suggestion. It’s been slotted into the roadmap and we should be able to get to work on it soon!
I’m interested in transportation vocabulary as well.
Hey Kori, thanks for the note! We’ve been working on some other big updates but should be able to get to this before too much longer.
Oops – I might have put my idea in the wrong area.
I would love to see Human Body vocabulary cards. Both outer body parts and inner body parts. Outer body parts are great for everyone. Inner body parts – many elementary school kids in grades 2-4 learn about the human body. Thanks, Jill
Hey Jill, here are on the feedback forum are both great. I responded over there as well. I try to keep on top of both. This is a great idea! We’ll add this to the roadmap as well! Thanks for taking the time to share.
The ACCESS test has life cycles. Are there any plant or animal life cycles?
Hi Darcy, I just emailed you as well 🙂
Metamorphosis: https://member.kid-inspired.com/paths-to-fluency/intermediate-4-overview/#Unit-4
Plants: https://member.kid-inspired.com/paths-to-fluency/upper-intermediate-1-overview/#Unit-2
I’ve added life cycles to the list of resources to create since it’s a great topic that could use some more coverage. Thanks for the suggestion!
I would love to see weather/natural disaster vocabulary!
Hey Kris, thanks so much for the suggestion! That’s a great idea that would pair well with other resources in the curriculum. I’ve added it to the updates database as well as the feedback forum. (https://feedback.kid-inspired.com/b/90pqw9vj/feature-requests/new-vocabulary-theme-ideas)
Anything related to tourism?
Hi Jane, thanks for the suggestion! There are some resources related to tourism but nothing specifically on tourism. I’ve added the suggestion to the feedback forum. You can upvote it here: https://feedback.kid-inspired.com/b/90pqw9vj/feature-requests/vocab-themes-around-tourism
Hello! do you have any vocabulary or units about Spring? Thank you.
Hi Derly, we don’t have any vocabulary themes on Spring specifically but there is a unit with the seasons in Low-Intermediate 1 Unit 7. http://member.kid-inspired.com/paths-to-fluency/low-intermediate-1-overview/#Unit-7
I’ve also added the idea of vocabulary themes for the different seasons in our feedback forum.
