Use this Graphic Organizer to help your ELLs practice making predictions about texts they are reading. This can be interest and help with comprehension.
- Print off a copy for each student.
- Students can take a look at a text's cover and/or images, and read part of the story before stopping to make predictions.
- They write down any text evidence they find for their predictions.
- Students read through the rest of the text to decide whether their predictions were correct.
- Aligned with Common Core literacy standards.
